Teeth Whitening & Cosmetic Dentistry in Mulund West

Cosmetic dentistry works best when it looks like nothing was done at all. Our approach is proportion first — designing to your face, your lip line and your age, rather than fitting a uniform set of very white rectangles.

In-chair professional whitening lifts years of staining from tea, coffee, tobacco and age in a single visit. We use enamel-protecting formulations and shield the gums throughout, which is what separates supervised whitening from over-the-counter kits that commonly cause sensitivity and patchy results.

Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin facings bonded to the front of the teeth to correct shape, alignment and colour together. They suit chipped edges, stubborn intrinsic discolouration, small gaps and worn teeth. Because they are irreversible, we plan every case carefully and show you the design first.

Digital smile design lets us mock up a proposed result and, in many cases, trial it in your mouth before any tooth is prepared. You see and approve the outcome in advance rather than hoping for the best.

Cosmetic work sits on top of healthy foundations. With a periodontist leading the clinic, gum health and gum symmetry are assessed as part of any smile design — uneven gum levels ruin an otherwise perfect set of teeth.

Frequently asked questions

How long does professional teeth whitening last?

Typically one to three years, depending on your diet and habits. Tea, coffee, red wine and tobacco shorten it considerably. Top-up sessions or home trays can extend the result.

Does whitening damage enamel?

Supervised professional whitening does not damage enamel. The formulations we use include agents that protect enamel and reduce sensitivity, and the gums are shielded throughout. Unsupervised high-concentration kits bought online are a different matter.

Will whitening work on crowns or veneers?

No. Whitening only lightens natural tooth structure. Existing crowns, veneers and fillings keep their original shade, which is why we plan the sequence carefully — whiten first, then match new restorations to the new shade.

How many veneers will I need?

It depends on how wide your smile line is and which teeth show when you smile and speak. Some cases need two; most full smile designs involve six to eight upper teeth. We show you the design before anything is prepared.

Is teeth whitening safe if I have sensitive teeth?

Usually yes, with adjustments. We assess the cause of sensitivity first — exposed roots and gum recession need addressing before whitening — and can use desensitising protocols and lower concentrations over a longer period.
