How long does clear aligner treatment take?
Mild crowding or spacing can resolve in six to nine months. More complex cases typically run twelve to eighteen months. Your 3D simulation gives an estimated duration specific to your teeth before you start.
Are clear aligners as effective as braces?
For most crowding, spacing and mild-to-moderate bite corrections, yes. For significant rotations, large skeletal discrepancies or complex bite work, fixed braces still give more predictable control. We will tell you which applies to you.
How many hours a day do I need to wear aligners?
Twenty to twenty-two hours daily — effectively all the time except when eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing. Compliance is the single biggest factor in whether treatment finishes on schedule.
Am I too old for braces or aligners?
No. Teeth move at any age provided the gums and supporting bone are healthy. Adults in their forties, fifties and beyond are treated routinely — with a periodontist on site, gum health is assessed properly before we begin.
Will my teeth move back afterwards?
They will if you do not wear a retainer. Relapse is the most common reason people need orthodontic work twice. We plan retention from the outset and explain exactly what long-term wear is required.
