Urgent care · Same-day slots kept open

Emergency Dentist in Mulund West, Mumbai

Dental emergencies are not polite about timing. Severe toothache, facial swelling, a knocked-out tooth or a crown that has come off mid-meal all need attention quickly — and we keep capacity in the day for exactly that.

Call +91 99997 57474 and describe what has happened. We treat severe pain, swelling and trauma as same-day priorities wherever clinically possible, and we will tell you honestly over the phone whether you need to come in immediately or can safely wait.

Severe toothache usually means the pulp inside the tooth is inflamed or infected. The reliable fix is root canal treatment or extraction — painkillers only mask it, and the infection continues to spread. Facial swelling is more serious still and should never be left overnight.

A knocked-out adult tooth is genuinely time-critical. Hold it by the crown, never the root, rinse it gently in milk or saline if dirty, and if possible reposition it in the socket and bite on a clean cloth. If that is not possible, keep it in milk and come in immediately — the first hour matters enormously.

Broken teeth, lost fillings and crowns that have come off are less urgent but still worth prompt attention, because exposed dentine is vulnerable to rapid decay and fracture.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a dental emergency?

Severe or worsening toothache, facial or gum swelling, a knocked-out or badly displaced tooth, uncontrolled bleeding after an extraction, and trauma to the mouth. Swelling that is spreading, or that affects your breathing or swallowing, needs immediate attention.

Can you see me today?

We hold capacity for urgent cases and will fit you in the same day wherever clinically possible. Call +91 99997 57474 as early in the day as you can — the earlier you ring, the more options we have.

My tooth has been knocked out — what should I do right now?

Hold it by the crown, never the root. If it is dirty, rinse briefly in milk or saline — do not scrub it. If you can, place it back in the socket and bite gently on a clean cloth. Otherwise keep it in milk and come in immediately. The first hour is critical to saving it.

Will painkillers be enough until my appointment?

They can control symptoms briefly, but they do not treat the underlying infection, which continues to progress. Antibiotics alone are also not a cure for a dead pulp. Definitive treatment is what actually resolves it.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For urgent problems, call as early as possible so we can find you a slot within those hours.
